someone needs to reign in these out of control mods.

i think that someone should be me.

you see, i'd set up an offsite forum where users could come and complain about mods suspending them, then i'd go investigate, and if the mod was acting capriciously, I would suspend the mod from his modly duties for a few days and reinstate the user.

and also i could remove the mod for not doing his job.... say, if a lot of people wanted user:peckerwood to be suspended for being a constant dickweed, and the mod refused to do anything about it, i could remove the mod and have him replaced with someone who would do a better job.

that would work out well for everyone, you see.
